Will Saints Row: The Third Remastered fix its biggest problems? - gonzalezoneins
It looks like 2020 will be the year of the remaster and we just got a storm: Saints Run-in: The Third Remastered has been proclaimed by Deep Silver Volition.Saints Row 3 Remastered promises better graphics, prettier lighting, and souped-up optic personal effects. Those are certainly dainty, just will it fix the game's more fundamental problems?
I really enjoyedSaints Dustup: The Third. I fondly remember jumping out of a helicopter to Kanye Occident's 'Great power' with one of my very in force friends and dismantling a penthouse full of mooks in a hail of gunfire and groin punches. Nearly every waking moment of the game is a blast and the announcement of a remaster will surely be welcome by fans of the franchise — simply that's non to say it doesn't have its problems, ones which will hopefully by the resolved in its remaster.
Three Steps Forward, Two Stairs Back
Saints Row: The Thirdserved equally my introduction to the franchise. I had a passing familiarity withSaints Run-in, merely the THQ Humble Bundle that appeared a few years ago was far besides good of a deal to pass up. (This, accidentally, is where I also began my journey with theMetro 2033 franchise.)

Several years afterward, I picked upSaints Wrangle 2 — and it served Eastern Samoa a immense surprise. The level of clothing and character customization blew the newer pun unstylish of the water, and I was frankly foiled at the offerings available in the new game.
I'll happily concede that wearable customization choices are a tiny flaw, but that's not totally that was wrong with the original. It's just one of numerous problems that could personify fixed inSaints Row: The 3rd Remastered.
Saints Row: The Third Remastered DLC Could Be Troublesome
Unequal some other open-reality games,Saints Row: The 3rd baked its cheats into the gameplay. As you progressed direct the story, you could finally become a nigh-invulnerable kill machine with infinite ammunition. It was fun for about five transactions. I soon realized that it threw the biz's balance out of whack and I desperately yearned-for to run short back.
Here's the problem: one time you unlock these upgrades, there's no means to turn them off. Changing your ammo capacity or your maximum wellness connected the fly could have been a great way to fine-strain the game's difficultness to your tastes, just the developers made the silly mistake of not allowing you to turn these upgrades happening surgery off.
This wasn't the only missing toggle. Another issue was with the game's DLC. The "Hirudinean Pack" is a piece of DLC that fundamentally changes the game, turning executions into aEnd of the world Eternal-style health regeneration system. If you tried this out and didn't like information technology, your only selection was to uninstall the DLC. Again, this could have (and should have) been an in-game toggle.
You fundament't visualise Pine Tree State
One of my biggest bugbears far and away was the tv camera. I preferred a high view from a certain angle, but the game's camera stupidly keeps shifting spine to an uncomfortable perspective. This makes high-velocity impulsive a pain in the rear end and yet another of the game's many issues that could be fixed with an in-game toggle.
Spell some of these bugs may be unchaste fixes, others are more substantial. The infinite grenade launcher glitch, for instance, is a heck of a dispense of fun but downright game-break. Spewing verboten a high-fastness stream of grenades is basically unstoppable once you rich person infinite ammo and should be converted to an in-game cheat at the negligible (if not removed entirely).
Quality customization, too, has more strict problems beyond its lackluster clothing offerings. You'Re able to make your own custom player fibre just like the previous games. Volition smartly included a way to upload (and subsequently download) your creations, so you could offse a new unfit with the same character or even make for it into other titles likeSaints Row 4.
It sounds like a good idea in theory. In practice session, this cloud entrepot was a glitchy, awful mess that didn't work half of the metre. It was a frustrating experience that may have had something to do with THQ's financial troubles or so the time of the pun's release. I can only hope that the devs have spent some time getting this system right.
Saints Row: The 3rd Remastered will of necessity be a heck of a good deal of sport. It looks gorgeous, too — there's no doubt about that. I can only hope that the developers have done more than prettying ahead the graphics. This cavalcade of tiny flaws makes what could have been a great game much more difficult to grapple than it should have been.
